Ndamukong Suh has 'ultimate respect' for Marshal Yanda
By Kevin Oestreicher
August 10, 2018
The Baltimore Ravens got to see a familiar face this week as the Los Angeles Rams brought Ndamukong Suh to the Under Armour Performance Center for two days of practice ahead of their Thursday night game. Fans might remember Suh from last year when he choked quarterback Ryan Mallett while with the Miami Dolphins.
Suh might not have the respect of many Baltimore fans but he’s giving a little out. When asked what he was looking forward to in these practices, it was taking on right guard Marshal Yanda — Someone he had “ultimate respect” for.
Sadly, Suh never got a chance to test his might against Yanda as the Pro Bowl guard had just come off the Physically Unable to Perform list and has only been doing individual drills thus far.
While Suh certainly has had his troubles in the past, it doesn’t change that he’s one of the most fearsome defensive linemen in the league. Even though Los Angeles hasn’t handed Aaron Donald a deal to get him to camp, they were willing to give Suh a pretty big deal this offseason to join that defense. For someone of Suh’s abilities to look forward to testing himself against Yanda speaks volumes about where Yanda is at.
