Ginn Jr. named USA Today Special-Teamer of the Week

Nothing but daylight: Ted Ginn Jr. has a clear path to the end zone during his second kickoff-return touchdown of the third quarter, a 101-yarder that helped the Dolphins beat the Jets at the Meadowlands. Ginn, who earlier ran one back 100 yards, totaled 299 kick-return yards.

Special-teamer: Ted Ginn Jr. Demoted from his role as a starting wide receiver, Ginn found another way to be a factor in the victory at the New York Jets as the Miami Dolphins offense mustered 104 yards. He became the first player in NFL history to post two kickoff returns of at least 100 yards (100, 101) in the same game. He's the eighth player in league annals with two kick-return TDs in the same game and the first with two in a quarter since the Green Bay Packers' Travis Williams in 1967. His 299 kick-return yards for the day was a Dolphins single-game record.
